Vegan Bread Stuffing

Oh my!  I had high hopes for this stuffing recipe, and it tasted good to me when it first came out of the oven!  But then I tried my mom’s delicious stuffing on Thanksgiving and new that this one had to be classified as an epic fail.  I threw the rest of it in the garbage!  I think a large part of the problem was that my bread cubes were freezer-burned.  But I don’t want to risk anyone trying out the recipe I posted and having a failure, so I’ve removed the recipe from my blog.  If you want to try a really good stuffing, I’ve posted it here:  Grandma’s Decadent (Veganized) Stuffing.

    I was surprised while spending Christmas with some Irish friends to see her role the stuffing into little balls (just a tad bit smaller than a golf ball) and bake them that way. They turned out crispy on the outside, soft in the middle, and wonderful with some gravy on!

  2. Mmmmmm…..stuffing!!!! Looks yummy! You’ve reminded me, I should get baking some bread to throw in the freezer so that’s one less thing to prepare for Christmas stuffing. Love the idea of combing different kinds of bread too.
